Proposal Software, Inc. is in the process of developing full integration between PMAPS
®
WebPro and salesforce.com in a seamless, repeatable
way. This bundled integration package can then be easily installed by PMAPS
®
WebPro salesforce.com customers with the click of a mouse.
SALESFORCE.COM CONFIGURATION
Your SalesForce.com Administrator installs the package which installs several objects in the SalesForce.com environment.
A SalesForce.com Administrator clicks the “PMAPS WebPro Mapping” option, which presents a list of opportunity fields from SalesForce.com and
corresponding tracking fields from PMAPS WebPro. The Administrator then maps the desired fields to either allow for export to, or import from,
PMAPS WebPro.
SALESFORCE.COM USER WORKFLOW
Step 1: Sales person enters a new Opportunity into SalesForce.com system entering key information required by the CRM system including,
opportunity name, address information, type and amount of business, etc.
Step 2: Sales person selects field “Add Opportunity to WebPro.”
S
tep 3: Sales person is brought into the SalesForce.com WebPro tab (single sign-on) where the opportunity tracking data has been automatically
populated and ready to begin the proposal process. An email is sent to a designated WebPro Administrator notifying that this proposal is now
in the queue and can then be assigned to a writer/project lead.
Step 4: After the proposal has been completed, PMAPS WebPro automatically updates SalesForce.com with appropriate information (e.g. ship
date, etc.) allowing reporting through SalesForce.com.
