Attention In
Home Care and Home Health Agencies

Owners, Operators, Executive Directors, Nurses, Staff

All behavior communicates. It holds the key to understanding client
needs and helps staff to shape their caregiving.
This 1/2 day
presentation was developed to assist in
home care and home health
agency staff in understanding clients with Alzheimer’s & other
dementias. Attendees will learn about the disease progression and
how to support the best list possible through thoughtful attention to
being. Attendees will leave this course with a better
understanding of how to view challenging behavior as
communication and how to support the independence of clients and
meet their needs.
We will offer a framework for developing and
implementing practical systems and individual interventions to
address behaviors.
