New Features

CloudPortal Services Manager 10.0 includes a number of new

features and improvements.

New Product Installers
. The new installers enable CSPs to independently install the Control
Panel components into their hosting environment. The installer now verifies that all pre
-
requisites are met before installing and config
uring the product’s web services and roles.

Improved SDK capabilities
. The user interface has been updated to simplify the integration of a
new service onto the Control Panel. The product’s architecture has been updated to remove the
dependencies that a se
rvice required of the core product. The improved SDK allows the
CloudPortal Services Manager to be more responsive to the hosting market needs and provides
the ability to deliver a Service Pack without the need to implement a Core Product Build.

Improved
3rd Party Service Integration
. The C
loudPortal Services Manager

enables the Service
Provider to import and export service packages at any point of time. The service package
includes the database schema, provisioning actions, and controls
.

New Provisioning

Manager
. A new version of the Provisioning Manager is being launched where
the provisioning actions are grouped and managed as Events. It also includes improvements to
the debug tools.

Product Design
. Updated look and feel for logon and navigation.

Installation

Upgrade from an existing CloudPortal Services Manager installation is not supported with this release. A
new instance of the CloudPortal Services Manager must be setup to
manage

the hosted environment.
