ing products by introducing the Portégé® 2000, the world’s
slimmest wireless embedded notebook. A communications and
solutions powerhouse for “Roadwarriors” and design

oriented
customers, the Portégé ® 2000 is proof that performance does
not have to be co
mpromised by portability. Weighing just over 1
kg and measuring less than 2 cm thin including a full

size
keyboard, the Portégé 2000 can easily be tucked into a briefcase
and comfortably carried while moving from place to place.

allows easy viewing and delivers higher quality images using 40

current TFT displays.

The notebook’s lightweight and ultra

slim profile is further enhanced
using Toshiba’s new flat lithium

ion polymer battery technology
instead of the standard cylindrical battery shape, without any
sacrifice in performance. A se
cond high capacity battery pack
bundled with the notebook will increase battery life to up to 9.3
hours.

The Portégé 2000 will support anytime, anywhere communication
with fully integrated Wireless LAN, Internal Fast InfraRed, 10/100
Ethernet port,internat
ional V.90 modem and optional Bluetooth® via
