Begin developing a system viewpoint of troubleshooting.

Identify analog device schematic diagrams.

3.

Select proper replacement parts for analog devices.

4.

Analyze circuits with both DC and AC s
ources.

Identify the effects of temperature on semiconductors.

Interpret several types of diode Volt

Amp curves during
forward and reverse conduction.

Measure and calculate power supply ripple and percent
regulation.

Test bipolar transistors with an ohmmet

Define the meaning of amplification and measure the gains
and losses in terms of voltage, current, and decibels.

Define clipping and saturation points in a linear amplifier.

Explain the importance of impedance matching.
