Aberdeen Asset Management
Universities’ Boat Race on Saturday, February 28.


Aberdeen Asset Management, which sponsors the annual event, has
organised
courtesy
buses to ferry boat race fans to the River Dee where
Robert Gordon University
is
determined to win over Aberdeen University’s
12
-
year reign on the title.


T
he
university te
ams
will
battle it out by rowing 3.5km
from the Bridge of
Dee to Aberdeen Boat Club in Torry.

at 1.30pm with

universities’ c
rew boat race, an
Alumni boat race
, before

local media celebrities add to the day’s
entertainment by
racing

against each other in the Media Challenge Cup.

The
challenge will feature

teams from the Evening Express & the
Press and
Journal, NorthSound, STV and Original 106 FM who will race in coxed ‘tub’
pairs over 300m
of the River Dee.
