Welcome to Physics! It will be a pleasure and an honor to be your teacher this semester.

This is a
math based, advanced level science.


Your success
in my class

ll depend on:



Your work ethic. You must complete assignments carefully, accurately and
timely. Each lesson will build on the previous lesson, so it is important for you to
keep up. If you are absent, it is critical that you catch up quickly.

If you get

behind you must ask for help.



Your math skills. We will be using
basic
Algebra and Trig

skills.



Your critical thinking skills.

I will expect you to think and reason and come up
with answers on your own.



Your desire for success. You and you alone are
responsible for how well you do
in this class. I can guide, coach and help, but you will determine your final grade
through your efforts.

ing on the startup.



You will turn in work completed and on time.
I accept no late work



You will put your name and date on all work.
Papers without names receive a zero



You will keep your area clean.
If you don’t clean up, points will be deducted

do your own work.
No copying
or plagiarism
will be tolerated.



You will use time wisely.

You will not sleep or engage in unrelated
activities

class.




No cell phones or other electronic devices will be tolerated.



Personal business (restroom, etc) will b
e at my discretion.
