75 Alligator Alley Rest Areas:
--
The $ 7 mill I
-
75
Alligator Alley Rest Area project group in District 4 consisted of new
rest area facilities, pavilions, boat ramps, floating docks and
decorative native landscaping. That project, much like this project
required close coordination with local Tribal Communities, the
Everglades Airboat Club as well as high ranking politicians.
I
-
75
Alligator Alley was completed on time and ahead of schedule and
was nominated for an FTBA “Best in Construction Award”.
After
the projects were completed, the local community was
exceptionally pleased with the final product, which led to several
very positive press releases and satisfied local residents. The scope
of this project is very similar and will have many of the same
challenges and concerns.
