elective class designed to

be a
laboratory

oriented program and
expands upon the skills
students learned in biology and physical science. The program is divided into three main sections: microbiology,
genetics and forensics. The program is an introduction to concepts learned in medicine and health related fields,
foo
d services, criminal justice, and genetics. Students will learn to develop and master skills needed to perform
microbiological techniques, electrophoresis, and PCR needed for genetic fingerprinting and DNA analysis.
