by the project developers.



The communication between the smart switch
, which is
Atmega328P AVR
based controller interfaced with a Wiznet W5100 network controller and control
center, w
hich is a Wireless Router ( TP
-
LINK 1043ND) with linux based
OpenWRT firmware
, was handled using embedded
C socket progamming
.


Also easy to use mobile / wireless devices based web interface and the
web site uses
IEEE Std 2001
-
2002 for
Software Engineerin
g. This
definitely
enhances the applicability of the proposed solution, thus suggesting scalability
though no comparative analysis is performed to prove it.


The effort to make the entire application light weight
by using Lua module
and SQLite
is also wel
l appreciated
.
