VSO UK’s visual identity

positioning and look and feel of the VSO brand

Under the supervision of the Senior Creative your
role will be to implement our graphic identity
guidelines
across our print and digital channels
ensuring all materials produced promote the VSO
brand.


Creative concepts and solutions

With the guidance
of the Senior C
reative you will be designing
collateral
across a range of channels including
publications, broch
ures, direct mail, online,
advertising,
campaign materials,
newsletters,
info
graphics,
posters and displays.


Digital design

support and advise the International
Web team and UK digital specialist on digital design
and ensure the integration of VSO’s off
line and
online communications internationally.

Provide digital design services to VSO,
providing
engaging designs for

websites, online banners,
newsletters and social media pages.


Management of external resources


From time to time you will be expected
to take
ownership of projects, working closely with internal
clients and liaise with external suppliers such as
photographers, copywriters and editors.


Work in collaboration with the brand, digital and
media team to assess and satisfy the visual
communications needs of VSO online platforms such
as our brand hub and VSO multi
-
media
. Develop and
upload templates, images and supporting materials.



Image selection and manipulation.

You will be required to select and adjust images
taken by local ph
otographers and upload to our VSO
multi
-
media platform. This platform will hold all

the same ‘family’ and there are no conflicts of
messaging and look & feel.

requirements visually and in terms of functionality

Templates are produced according to customer
need and are available for use by VSO staff,
partners and supporters. There is a wide portfolio
of standard materials to suit most standard
applications (events, posters, fliers)



Images are chosen
/ adjusted so

that they best
portray VSO’s work, whether this be in
volunteering, fundraising or advocacy.

Qualification

Educated to degree level or

equivalent
proven experience in design.


Proven experience

Appreciation of the importance of brand
and the role that design plays in
promoting and developing a corporate
brand.


Experience / proven ability to de
sign
materials according to brief, ensuring
materials are audience and channel
appropriate.


Experience and proven ability (portfolio)
