The CCNA is the first step towards the premium certifications Cisco Certified Network
Professional (CCNP) and Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE). CCNA Certification skills
include: install, configure, and operate LAN, WAN, and dial access services for small networks
(100 nodes or fewer), including but not limited to use of these protocols: IP, IGRP, Serial, Frame
Relay, IP RIP, VLANs, RIP, Ethernet, Access Lists.

How to certify

1. Attend the relevant courses and undertake study to prepare for the
certification exam.

2. To obtain the Cisco Certified Network Associate certification candidates
have two options:
OPTION ONE
Pass one exam:
CCNA Exam: #640-801

OPTION TWO
Pass two exams:
INTRO Exam: #640-821
ICND Exam: #640-811

3. To book your exams logon to the On-line Prometric testing system
www.2test.com - this will minimise your waiting time and provides great
service. Alternatively, call Prometric on 1800 800 430. Ensure you have
your Prometric ID and credit card or alternative method of payment
available. If you don’t have a Prometric ID you can obtain one when you
contact Prometric.
