FLEX-MAT
® 3
HIGH-PERFORMANCE, SELF-CLEANING SCREEN MEDIA
DRIVING PROFIT THROUGH PERFORMANCE
PERFORMS ON THREE LEVELS
Flex-Mat 3’s performance comes from its distinctive lime-green polyurethane strips that bond individual
wires and allow them to vibrate independently at different frequencies. This virtually eliminates blinding,
pegging and clogging and creates more screening action while maintaining proper sizing dimensions.
Flex-Mat 3 is manufactured with our highly abrasion resistant OptimumWire
®
that has proven to
be stronger and outperform traditional woven wire. OptimumWire delivers the best combination
of ductility, hardness and tensile strength—resulting in the longest lasting wire available.
Flex-Mat 3 delivers different benefits on each deck for both tensioned and modular screen
boxes. Its independently vibrating wires:
• Eliminate near-size pegging on top decks
• Produce cleaner retained product through middle decks
• Prevent fine material blinding on bottom decks
Material that is supposed to pass through each deck will fall through, so you
achieve more production of cleaner, in-spec material that increases your
overall screening profits. On modular screen boxes, it can also work
in conjunction with other screen media on the same deck to best
handle the abrasiveness of your material, such as following
polyurethane/rubber on the feed end of the top deck.

• Asphalt
