IWSSN 2012: The 1st International Workshop on Smart Sensor Networks

October 10
-

12,
2012,
Sanya, China

The ubiquitous nature of sensor networks has driven the development of smart and autonomous sensors.

In addition to information processing, intelligent methods are being incorporated into the design,
implementation and management of sensor networks. The resulting smart sensor networks are therefore
able to meet the demand for autonomy and hence being ado
pted for a wide range of applications. This
workshop will provide a forum for presenting and discussing the most recent advances in different
aspects of smart sensor ne
tworks. The workshop will
gather
leading researchers from academics and
industry to pres
ent their research and experiences from developing/deploying sensor networ
ks. Topics
of interest include
,
but not limited to
:

with title of
IWSSN 2012 Submission
is also accepted.

Publications

As in 2010, all accepted and presented papers of this workshop, will be published by IEEE Compu
ter
Society's Conference Publishing Services (CPS) and are included in the IEEE Xplore database. They
will further arranged for indexing through IEE INSPEC, EI (Compendex), and Thomson ISI. Authors
of accepted papers, or at least one of them, should regist
er and present their work at the conference,
otherwise their papers will be removed from the digital libraries of IEEE Xplore and EI after the
conference.
