The Scorpio Full Moon is on Tuesday May 17, 2011 at 26 degrees 13 minutes at
5:09 am MST.

She is at the apex of a Yod with the South Node in Gemini and Jupiter in Aries.
She opposes the Sun in Taurus, squares

and Chiron in Pisces, and
forms a

trine to Uranus in Aries.

Scorpio is a fixed sign, a water element, is yin energy and ruled by the planet
Pluto. It correlates with the archetype of commitment which can also lead to the
fear of entrapment, another Scorpio archetype. It is the combi
ning of individual
resources, Sun in Taurus, with the resources of another, such as in a marriage.
When in a marriage, be it husband and wife, business partners etc, the
psychology of our intentions, motivations, compulsions and obsessions, now
come into

full view. Who am I? Who are you? What can I get? What do you
want? And the more important answer to these questions, which Scorpio always
needs to know, is WHY? The analytical mind of Scorpio is always
psychoanalyzing himself/herself, to uncover

and discover his/her true motives,
intentions and behaviours.

Having said all that, the Full Moon is at the Apex of a Yod, meaning the focus is
on the depth of analysis prior to making any changes, transformations or
adjustments in ones life. First loo
king to see what may further enhance his/her
resources/ obsessions by looking to the Sun in Taurus. What can I get? What
do I need? Looking to the south node in Gemini, the Scorpio moon sees there is
more information from the past that first needs to b
e dissected and analyzed. At
the same time needed to re
learn those philosophical ideas that he/she once
identified with many moons ago, Jupiter in Aries. Needing now to change and
transform those ideas into other thought forms to stay current with the

times. A
challenge indeed, this must be as it can lead to so many different conclusions
and possibly bring forward inner wounds that he/she would rather leave covered
up, Neptune and Chiron in Pisces. Now one would think that the solution to all
this c
onundrum within the mind of Scorpio would be the Trine to Uranus in Aries,
and it may be, however, the thoughts coming in from Uranus will be fast and
furious, so if Scorpio is to wrapped up in his own psychoanalytical conundrum
he/she may miss out on the
answers to many of life’s questions.

Getting one’s head out of the sand and looking up we may just find a whole other
world out there to be obsessive about. What is it are you wanting to change in
your Life?

Did you Know…

The day before the

nuclear accident on April 25

Total Lunar Eclipse conjunct Pluto in the sign of Scorpio, a rare occurrence.
Pluto correla

penetrated deep into the earth. In Eastern Astrology the Elephant is the
symbol for Scorpio, in Western Astrology it is the Scorpion. A large shape of

*A note on the Sabian Symbols…

The Sabian symbols, another form of divination, were
in 1925 with the combined efforts of Elsie Wheeler, a clairvoyant medium and Marc
Edmond Jones a spiritualist astrologer.

They brought into manifestation a symbol for each of the
360 degrees of the Astrological chart in the span of a day in Balboa Park Sa
n Diego, California.
