This seminar will introduce neural networks as one of the family of
Computational Intelligence Algorithms in a way that a novice to neural
networks could understand the rest of the presentation whi
ch will focus on
the application of neural networks as closed loop controllers in induction
motor variable speed drives, large turbogenarator excitation control, and as
controllers for several FACTS devices, such as STATCOMS, SSSC and UPFC
