122 The
beautiful virtue that God give a
woman, to be a mother, has been
marred.
And
that's the backbone of the nation. You break
motherhood, and you've broke the nation
right then.
That's one thing that helps hold
it together, real genuine parenthood
.

1 Good evening, friends. I'm happy to be here
again tonight. And I want to thank Brother Baxter for his
comments about
--
for myself and for my mother.

I want my mother to set on the platform with me, if she
will. She's as bashful as I used to be...?... It used to be, she
would turn me over her checkered apron. So now... She
can still do it. I
--
I would...

Well, everyone thinks about their mother, you
know. I think mother, the good true mother is the fifth
Gospel:
Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, mother.
Mother
gets them first. That's the one who brings them up first,
is mother.

THE.CONFLICT.BETWEEN.GOD & SATAN

54
In Eden, God knew His enemy and all the
attacks of His enemy. Now, God is the infinite God, and
the infinite God is the Perfection of the perfections. He
knew all things before they ever was. And therefore, if
this infinite God could have looked forward (and did)
and seen the end from the beginning, and knew that
He would have children on this earth, His Own blessed
children, don't you believe that He would provide for
them the best that He could provide?

55
Would not you, tonight, to your children that
was helpless little fellows who can't take care of
themselves, don't you struggle, and work, and do
everything that you can, to provide the best that you
can, or able, to provide for those children.
Because
you are a father, a parent.
And if that be the
--
the...
what I would say, the
--
the trueness, and the thought
of a earthly parent
. And parenthood originated in
God, because He was the first Parent.

2 I will open my mouth in a parable: I will
utter dark sayings of old: 3 Which we have heard
and known, and
our fathers have told us
. 4 We
will not hide them from their children,
shewing

to the generation to come the praises of the
LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful
works that he hath done
. 5 For he established a
testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel,
which he commanded our fathers,
that they
should make them known to their children

7 That they might set their hope in

his commandments: 8
And might not be as
their fathers
, a stubborn and rebellious

10 Now, friends, I know
them's
, each one, is the
prettiest baby in the world. I know that. I know better
than to say anything else about that. That's right. And
that's the way you should feel.
They're little treasures
that God has given you the responsibility of raising
.
And I've always said and made this kind of a saying to
mothers. We know, written of four Gospels, Matthew,
Mark, Luke, and John. But there's a fifth Gospel,
unwritten; that's mother. She gets them before Matthew
-
Mark
-
Luke
-
and
-
John's teaching gets them.
So the
responsibilities is placed upon you mothers and you
fathers to raise these children for the Kingdom of
God.

And I'm sure that's your heart's desire.

shall ye fear other gods. 39 But the

LORD your God ye shall fear; and he shall deliver you

So these nations feared the LORD, and served their
graven images, both their children, and their children's
children: as did their fathers, so do they unto this day.

See…? First

the first thing you know, she left poor John, run off and
married this little slicker. Didn't live together a little
while, till he found one a little prettier than she was, so...
See, she ought to have had sense enough to know

59 Then
when He went to take a little rest,
His
enemy slipped in with deceit,

and took it over, by
misinterpreting His program to His children. When, He
put trust in His Own child; as you put trust in your
daughter when she goes out at night with a man; when
you put trust in your son when he has to go with a
drinking boy or a smoking boy. See, He put trust in His
son, that he would not do anything wrong, and would
keep every Word that He said.
But the enemy slipped
in
; like that greasy slicker that would take out your

or some woman
would take, go out with your son, and the same thing

6 In the great meetings of the vast fields of
the campaign, I noticed many people coming to me and
saying, "Oh, I have all faith, Bro. Branham." And
intellectually they are right here, but in their heart it
isn't there. If it was, they wouldn't be on the platform to
be prayed for help of faith, if they had faith.

Now, we'll have to go back and get a type to bring
this picture out to you this morning as children, and I
want you to notice closely. I believe in typing, especially
to people that's

that's...
It's easier for them to
understand, to illustrate. It's

it's good to teach

We're

we're just

Use of Symbolism

Both boys and girls like pictures, but boys
often rely on them in their learning because
they stimulate the right hemisphere, which
is where many boys are more developed.

Boys like symbolic texts, diagrams, and graphs
because of the coded quality

Girls prefer written texts

244 To you little mothers here this morning,
that's been
real mothers
, and I know there's many of
you. Let me tell you something. God bless you. You're
the
fifth Gospel
, I think. Let me tell you what's in there for
your children, just a little thing. 'Cause, Bro. Neville will
probably preach on the
--
about mother tonight, or
whoever, one of us that preaches, all right, about
mothers. But, listen, let me ask you something.

Remember, when Moses was a little boy, it was a
mother who give him his instruction. It was a godly
mother who took little Moses on her knees, and said,
"Moses..." taught him all. She was his teacher under
Pharaoh, and said now these things.

3/11/2012

Parenthood

33

Said, "Moses, someday you're going to deliver the
children of Israel. You're the boy that's called. Keep
yourself pure and unspotted from the world, for you're
the one. You're the one.“ No other place do we know
where he ever went to any seminary, any teaching at all,
he ever got. He stayed right in Pharaoh's palace, which
was a heathen; but his mother taught him.

That's a real
mother. She taught him the precepts of the Lord.

She
told him how he must be holy. She told him how and
what he must live, and how, what God must do, would
do for him. And it stuck with Moses all the days of his
life. And any good, true, loyal mother that'll take her
little babies, instead of send them to picture shows and
dances, and so forth like that, and she'll put them on her
lap and teach them about the Lord Jesus Christ...
