Biomimetics in Energy Systems is a sub discipline of Biomimetics. It
deals with the research and investigation of
energy conversion in living organisms, structures and systems in
nature with the aim to create similar technological systems,
processes, applications and devices for energy conversion and
production. This includes systems that evolved in nature regarding
the reduction of energy use or the optimisation of energy
consumption.
