Decking Terms



Balusters

One of many closely spaced railing supports spaced at regular intervals between

A horizontal support member which rest on the post to support the joists.

Deck boards manufactured from wood fiber or plastic to form a profile which
requires less maintenance and generally has a longer lifespan than natural wood.
