Arti ficial intelligence systems are wi del y accepted as a

defined problems. They can learn from examples, are faul t
tolerant in the sense that they are able to handle noisy and
incomplete data, are able to deal wi th non

linear problems,
and once trained can pe
rform predi ction and generalization
at high speed. Artifi cial intelligence systems have been used
in di verse applications in control, roboti cs, pattern
recognition, forecasting, medi cine, power systems,
manufacturing, optimi zation, signal processing, and
s
ocial/psychologi cal sciences. They are parti cularl y useful in
system modeling such as in implementing complex mappings
and system identi fi cation. Artifi cial intelligence (AI) systems
comprise areas like, expert systems, arti ficial neural
networks, geneti c
algori thms, fuzzy l ogi c and various hybrid
systems, whi ch combine two or more techniques. Arti ficial
intelligence techniques play an important role in modeling
and predi ction of the performance and control of energy and
renewable energy processes. Resul ts
presented in various
papers, are testimony to the potential of arti ficial intelligence
as a design tool in many areas of energy and renewable
energy engineering.

School of Electrical Sciences (SES) is the most technological and
prominent school of Lakireddy Bali Reddy College of
Engineering(LBRCE). The school comprises of three departments,
Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics &
Communication Eng
ineering (ECE), and Electronic
Instrumentation Engineering (EIE).
The Department of EEE is
established in the year 1998 and offers an

multifarious disciplines of technology such as process control,
Electrical, Electronics and Mechanical measurements and
transducer
Engineering. This Department offers Electronics and
Instrumentation Engineering at UG level. This curriculum is
formulated with motto of making the students aware of the
