Fire Safety

Always know where fire exits are

Know where all the fire extinguishers are

Evacuate immediately when fire alarm sounds

Electrical Safety

Don’t overload electrical outlets

If a circuit blows, there is a problem tell your supervisor

Keep cords out of the walkways

Use proper voltage in the equipment

Do not expose computer software

disks to electromagnetic fields

Floors, Doors, and Exits

Make sure floors are not cluttered with parts blocking exits

Make sure fire doors are able to be accessed

Tools that are used on the job

Always use the right tool

When you are finished put tools where they belong

Leave your work area the way you found it

Where safety goggles while working with equipment

Make sure all equipment is grounded

Make sure computer parts are placed on a non
static material
