SVM’s rapid growth has led to the creation of this vital role within the fi
nance department. You will be
ultimately responsible for ensuring the company financials are reported correctly, accurately and within the
format and timescales required by senior stakeholders of the company. You will support the Finance Manager
in ensurin
g that transactions are processed in a timely and accurate manner and that the company’s accounts
meet all statutory and legal requirements and ultimately be responsible for a finance team of four.

Key Responsibilities:

Producing monthly management accou
nts (P&L and balance sheet with required supporting detail)
for senior management

Carrying out balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy of reporting

Management of Finance Manager and delegation of duty as required

Ensuring the Finance Manager achie
ves their pre
agreed targets which will ensure transactions are
processed in a timely and accurate manner

Ensuring that all customers pay invoices on time

Ensuring that all suppliers are paid on time

Assistance with ad
hoc / urgent tasks as required

knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong organisational skills

Attention to detail

Process driven

Can do attitude

Able to prioritise

Management experience

Credit control experience

Balance sheet reconciliation experience

ACCA or CIMA qualified

standing of how to deal with confidential information (previous experience of working in ISO
27001 environment ideal)

Sage 1000 experience ideal (not essential)
