VISION

To solve the toughest problems
of the world.

Technology that reaches out to
the common man.

IDENTIFICATION OF PROBLEM

Conducted visits &

surveys in villages &

remote
areas where the 70 %

of our population
reside.

Collected the information &

studied them
thoroughly to understand the problems
described by
the people
.

Village ‘Kolari’

After
discussing the situation with the
villagers, we concluded
the following:

L
ack
of Medical and Health Care Facility.

A distant health care
center
serving 78
villages and a population of 1.3 lakh.

Negligence and Lack of awareness.

Illiteracy
and
poverty.

Unemployment .

Infants and Children suffering from
diseases.

PROBLEM

One billion
people lack
access to basic
heath care
services

According to
CENSUS 2001, 75%
of health care
resources are
concentrated in
urban areas were
mere 27.8% of the
population live.

Even if these
people get tested
at small camps
they have to go
to distant places
to get themselves
tested this further
puts a heavy
burden on their
limited earnings.

Health Care Concerns

Lack of awareness and literacy.

Regions lacking proper governance.

Inadequate Medical Facilities at Remote
HealthCare Centre.

Negligence towards health at the Patient’s
end due to a tough lifestyle.

Solutions Available

HealthCare devices integrating medical
sensors and equipment's.

Information services for creating awareness
among the people.

L
ay
the foundation of a new healthier
planet.

Architecture of SWASTHYA
SANJIVANI

Our system has a 3 tier architecture based upon the following:

Tier 1: Laptop
:
Laptop provides
an interface between doctor
and the Swasthya Sanjivani
kit. The
video conferencing
connecting doctor with patient can be
done
using laptop
through

Skype
.

Tier 2: Swasthya Sanjivani Kit
: The Swasthya Sanjivani Kit is
provided to the operator in the rural areas. As we are aware
that people in rural areas often neglect their health, our kit
ensures that the patient gets economical and on the spot
blood and urine testing system on his or her doorstep.

Tier 3: Web Portal (SkyDrive)
:

Our web portal works for bridging
the gap between rural and urban areas. It provides a means of
expanding the reach of a patient’s problem to a National
Level. The patient can be treated by a specialist doctor at a
distant location.

Matlab

We have done image processing using
matlab

tool.

We have made an executable file using
matlab

which runs on windows stands alone application.

Selecting pixels would increase the accuracy of the
testing which
is presently
not achieved by
wavelength comparison.

Colour Generator

We have made a colour generator tool in our
patient entry form.

The colour generator when provided with the RGB
values generates the colour of the sample of the
webpage. (Red Green Blue are the primary
colours and any colour can be formed from the
combination of these three colours)

Electronic Pill box

REAL TIME CLOCK

MICROCONTROLLER

BUZZER AND LED

It is designed for the people who generally forget to take
their medicine on time or for the illiterate people who find it
difficult to under stand the medicine doze as prescribed by
the doctor.

This device produce beep sound and show led
blinking

indication when the times matched with the user
input time.

It has small pill boxes for different medicines and also it can
be programmed with pc and mobile phone App.

We will also integrate the follow up details of the patient in
the box.

The
leds

will blink at the time of his scheduled appointment
with the doctor.
