Overall job specifications would include independent
responsibility to ensure smooth trouble free operation of the respective system; capacity planning and
management of upgradation / s trouble shooting, optimization of the sy
stem; components for best results;
motivating a team of highly skilled and ambitious personnel; training adequate resources and transfer of
knowledge apart from the functions and error / problem resolution to result in uninterrupted system
operation.

Terms and Conditions of Contract Appointment for the Above Posts


i)
Period
: The Second party's (Contract Appointee's) term of contract with the First Party (Bank) will be for
a period of
2

years from the date of reporting.


ii)
Job responsibility

:

As specified by the user department. However, the Second party shall execute
and perform all such duties that may be assigned to him/her by First party from time to time and First party
reserves its rights to change these at its discretion.

iii)
Compensat
ion Package :

IT Resource Personnel Level 2

IT Experts Level 3

(i) Fixed Annual Compensation
-

Rs.4 lakh

(ii) Variable Pay
-

Nil to a maximum of Rs.1.50
Lakh per annum depending on the evaluation of
the performance at the end of the year

i) Fixed Annual

(ii) Variable Pay

Nil to a maximum of Rs.2 Lakh
per annum depending on the evaluation of the
performance at the end of the year


iv)

Leave:
The Second party will be entitled for

Casual leave at the rate of 15 days per year (lea

rata basis for any fractional period beyond one year). Any absence beyond the above
period will be treated as leave without pay.

v)
Travelling / Halting Allowance:
Reimbursement of Lodging /Boarding and Hotel expenses while on
o
fficial tour
-
The Second party will be entitled to traveling /halting allowance and reimbursement of Lodging,
Boarding and Hotel Expenses while on Official duty outside the Head Quarters as per the rules to be
prescribed by the First party.

vi)

Accommodati
on :

The Second party will be required to make own arrangements for his/her stay and it
shall not be incumbent on the First Party to provide any residential accommodation. However, if the First
Party is able to offer any type of residential accommodation a
nd if the offer is accepted by the Second
party, the latter will have to forgo the monthly housing allowance of Rs.10,000 / Rs.12,000 included in the
Fixed Annual Compensation.

vii)

Superannuation benefits :
The Second party

will not be entitled for any
superannuation / terminal
benefits for and during the period of contract.

viii)

Seniority:

The Second party will not have any seniority among the individuals appointed on contract
basis. Contract appointee has no right for consideration for regular appoint
ment.

ix)
Training:
The Second party will be required to undergo such training as may be prescribed by the Bank.

x)

Posting :

The Second party would be liable to be posted in any of the offices of the Bank as decided and
made known at the time of appointme
nt and to work in any of its Departments / Offices or its associate
institutions at the centre. The appointment of the Second Party will be centre
-
specific and the Bank will not
ordinarily change the centre of posting during the period of contract. In case

of renewal of contract,
however, the First party shall have the right to specify a new centre of posting of the Second Party for the
extended period of contract.

xi)

Conduct and Discipline :

The Second Party will be governed by Chapter IV of the RBI (Staf
f)
Regulations, 1948 and such administrative instructions as may be issued from time to time.

xii)

Other facilities:

The Second Party will be eligible for the First party's Lounge facilities and dispensary
facility for his/her medical treatment.

xiii)

Ter
mination of Contract:

The Contract will be terminated on one month's notice from either side. The
contractual appointment with the First Party automatically will come to an end on the expiry of the period of
contract. There is no obligation on the part of
the First Party to issue a formal order of termination or to give
a prior notice in this behalf. No compensation shall be payable on termination of contract.

xiv)

Renewal of contract:

The contract may be renewed on completion of the contract period of 2 ye
ars
depending upon Second Party's performance, suitability and need of the First Party.

xv)

Appointment with the Bank:
The Second Party

will have no right for consideration for regular
appointment with the First Party. He/She will be eligible to appear and

compete for such appointment along
with other outside candidates subject to prescribed terms and conditions as may be applicable to other
candidates.

xvi)

Secrecy :

The Second Party shall sign a declaration of secrecy on the usual lines.

xvii)

Undertaki
ng to protect Bank's Interest:

The Second Party should sign an undertaking to protect First
Party Interest.

5. APPLICATION FEE :

ayable by SC/ST/PH candidates. Fee is payable by Demand
Draft favouring Reserve Bank of India and payable
at Mumbai

only. Candidates should write their name
and address on the reverse of the Demand Draft and in the space provided for the purpose on the Pos

Orders (if fee is payable) and enclose them to the application with a pin

(should not be stapled).

However,
candidates from un

banked areas may pay fee by crossed Indian Postal Orders in favour of Reserve Bank
of India payable at GPO, Mumbai. Fees sent

separately not accompanied with proper application or
payment in any other manner will not be accepted.
Fees once paid will not be refunded.

GENERAL RULES / INSTRUCTIONS:

APP. NOT ACCOMPANIED BY PRESCRIBED FEES (UNLESS EXEMPTED) OR INCOMPLETE/NOT
IN THE PRESCRIBED FORMAT WILL BE REJECTED AND NO CORRESPONDENCE IN THIS
REGARD WILL BE ENTERTAINED BY THE BOARD.

iii)

CANDIDATES SHOU
LD ENCLOSE PHOTO COPIES OF THE RELEVANT CERTIFICATES/
DOCUMENTS ABOUT QUALIFICATION, CATEGORY AND EXPERIENCE THEREOF WITH THE
APP. IF AT ANY STAGE IT IS FOUND THAT ANY INFORMATION FURNISHED IN THE APP. IS
FALSE/INCORRECT OR IF ACCORDING TO THE BOARD, THE

CANDIDATE DOES NOT SATISFY
THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA, HIS CANDIDATURE/CONTRACT IS LIABLE TO BE
CANCELLED/TERMINATED.

iv)

ALL EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS MUST HAVE BEEN OBTAINED FROM RECOGNISED
UNIVERSITIES/INSTITUTIONS IN INDIA OR ABROAD.

/Undertakings will have to produce a "No Objection Certificate" from their employer,
at the time of
Interview.

Before appointment in RBI, a proper discharge certificate from the em
ployer will have to be
produced. If the App. is required to be routed through the employer and in the process it reaches the
Board’s Office after the due date, it will not be considered even though submitted to the employer before
the due date. In such cas
es, App. Marked ‘Advance Copy’ should be sent to the Board’s Office direct,
together with fee and the regular copy (without fee) should be routed directly through the employer.


vi)

Candidates called for Interview, will be reimbursed to and fro actual Fi
rst Class/II AC railway fare by the
shortest route from the place of their residence/place of work to the place of Interview whichever is
nearer.


vii)

Board does not furnish the mark
-
sheet to candidates.

viii) Change of address, if any, should be informe
d to the Board immediately. Although every effort will be
made to take on record such changes, the Board does not accept any responsibility in the matter,
particularly when the time gap between receipt of intimation and date of Interview is very short.

ix)

All candidates who have applied for the above posts will be advised about their inclusion for interview or
otherwise in due course.

x) Board shall not entertain requests from the candidates seeking advice about their eligibility to apply.

xi) CANVASSING
IN ANY FORM WILL BE A DISQUALIFICATION.

xii)

IN ALL MATTERS REGARDING ELIGIBILITY, CONDUCT OF INTERVIEWS, ASSESSMENT IN
RELATION TO NUMBER OF VACANCIES AND COMMUNICATION OF RESULT, THE BOARD’S
DECISION SHALL BE FINAL AND BINDING ON THE CANDIDATES AND NO CO
RRESPONDENCE
SHALL BE ENTERTAINED IN THIS REGARD.

xiii) DEPENDING UPON THE NUMBER OF APPLICATIONS RECEIVED, IN RELATION TO THE
NUMBER OF VACANCIES, THE BOARD RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CALL ONLY REQUIRED
NUMBER OF CANDIDATES AFTER PRELIMINARY SCREENING OF THEIR

APPLICATIONS.
HENCE, MERE SATISFYING THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA DOES NOT ENTITLE A CANDIDATE TO
