How to publish a Java Web application to the internet:

a.

Domain name: register a domain name which is used to access our application
by user
through internet. There are many organizations or websites which we can register one,
e.g:
Whois.com
. It can be free to register or pay fee per month.

b.

Hosting:

disk space where we put and deploy our application
. We should buy a hosting
which satisfy our need such as:

+ Bandwith, Storage

+ Support Java

(JDK 1.5, 1.6, …)
,

JSP, Servlet

+ Install Java Web Server such as Tomcat, Glassfish (recommend), Websphere, …

+ Install DBMS such as MySQL (recommend), SQL Server, …

+ Support FTP

+ Access the Java Web Application: this is very simple Web App with “Hello World” on
the screen.

http://tuyenkg.s20.eatj.com

is the free domain name. If we register a domain name, it
will be that one
