Early Bird
Slots Tournament

Cost: $20 Entry Fee

Date: Wednesday, June 13
th

Time: 7:30pm

9:30pm

Location: The Palace Station
-

Slots Tournament area (past/behind Cabo

Restaurant)

To enter, show your AMVIV badge, pay your entry fee of $20 at the Slot
Tournament area and pick your machine.

Then… Ready...Set... GO! Push those buttons to your heart’s content.
The most points wins!

Here’s how it works:

The slot machi
nes start with a predetermined number of credits. The
object is to use up all the credits and rack up as many points as possible
in the allotted time frame.

Each player is given a set number of credits, and a set amount of time to play them. Each time yo
u hit the spin
button, the amount of credits for a maximum bet are deducted from your starting credits. Any credits you win are
shown on a separate meter. You do not get to replay any credits that you win.

When your time is up, the machine will lock up a
nd play is over. Any credits that you have not played will be lost. This
is why you will see people furiously hitting the spin button

they’re trying to use up every credit on the machine as
quickly as possible.

After you finish playing, you wait at you
r machine until the official comes by and records your score.

It’s an absolute blast, and the more the merrier! If you’re here for AMVIV early, come on down and spin with us.

Death Valley

This’ll be a *fun and fiery* run with a lunch stop in Pahrump around 1pm
-
1:30pmish.

This year it looks like we will REALLY be cheating death in Death Valley.

Our event has never been held in June, and the average temp in June is 109 with a record of 128.

The drive out to Badwater will take you to the lowest place in North America at 282 feet below sea level.

If you have GPS in your MINI set it so you can see

your current altitude, and watch it go negative on the drive. When
you get to Badwater make sure to look up the mountain for the Sea Level sign.

NOTE: It’s important that you make sure you have a full tank when you leave for this drive. Also, you will wa
nt to
make sure you have some drinking water as it can be very hot. Plus, sunscreen, sunglasses and possibly a hat as the
sun can be brutal.

Directions to Death Valley
-
Badwater

Depart from Palace Station turning RIGHT (EAST) on Sahara Avenue for less than

1 mi.

President's
Choice

Lake Mead Recreation Area v
ia Overton

and North Shore Road

Lake Mead Recreation Area is federal land, and the road we're taking is one of my personal favorites in the area.

There will be a $10 entry fee, so be prepared (cash makes the gate wait faster).

The area is also patrolled by park rangers. They're not h
ampered by pesky state or local laws
-

and only have federal
laws to fall back on. So, if they pull you over for excessive speed or reckless driving
-

don't be surprised to see
handcuffs, or the inside of that shiny white Ranger mobile. It's a beautiful pa
rk, lots of great vistas and nice roads.
We'll do what we can to keep the ride interesting for you, but we don't want anyone winning any driving 'awards'.

Directions:
Palace Station to Overton

Depart from Palace Station turning RIGHT on Sahara Avenue for

less than 1 mi.

Turn LEFT onto Interstate 15 North towards Salt Lake City for 53.1 mi.

Take Exit 93 and turn RIGHT onto SR
-
169/South Moapa Valley Road for 11.4 mi.

Arrive at Overton: Hungry? Feeling like some ice cream? Sugars Home Plate and Inside Scoop

are a couple
good options for you. We'll stay here for roughly one half hour before starting off on our scenic cruise back to
Palace.

Directions:
Overton to

Palace Station

via scenic North Shore Road

Continue along SR
-
169/South Moapa Valley Road for 8.6
mi.

Continue STRAIGHT SR

S.A.F.E. House

S.A.F.E. House (
www.safehousenv.org
) was established in 1994 by a group of community leaders concerned about
the needs of battered women and their children. Today, through safe shelter, support, advocacy, counseling and
community e
ducation, the organization provides a comprehensive approach to working with families to Stop Abuse
in the Family Environment.

S.A.F.E. House will provide quality crisis intervention, shelter and counseling services to domestic violence victims
and their
children and accredited treatment services for those who choose to abuse.

S.A.F.E. House strives to be the leader in domestic violence education and prevention. They're raising the awareness
of the seriousness and devastating effects of family abuse and v
iolence; promoting women's strengths, competencies
and abilities; holding batterers accountable for their violent and abusive behavior; and advocating for community
involvement and social change.

“Show and Shine” Benefit Car Show

The Sin City Mini Club

ALSO HAVE AN AMVIV REGISTRATION NUMBER. (A tax receipt will be issued by the S.A.F.E. House staff. Donations
will also be gratefully accepted from attendees not wishing t

“Show and Shine” Benefit Car Show

Judging Criteria

Surprises can be fun, but we thought our attendees and participants
would like to know what will be judged and how
ahead of time.

A five (5) point system will be used where a number of 1 to 5 will be assigned to each car in the
categories listed below.

If the owner does not want the engine compartment or boot judged, they
will receive a 0 for that
category.

Each judge will spend approximately 5 minutes reviewing each car. (We’ve asked our judges not to nitpick in an
effort to speed up the process.)

Note: To enter the car show, you must register and receive a special car sh
ow number sticker that must be displayed.
