aviation.

Researchers

from different fields will

discuss

and develop

ideas for step changes in aviation, with a
view on
potential

bid

for the new
level 0 funding scheme

in the EU FP7 research programme.

The workshop will
start

with t

o

We are
delighted that

Prof. Andrew Walker
will deliver
a presentation on innovation in
aviation.

Andrew Walker was previously the Director of the Northern Aerospace Technology
Exploitation Centre (NATEC), and is
CEO of National Composites Certification and Evalua

)
will
present the case for urgent action and step change efficie

in the
light of clim
ate change and scarce resources.

The main part

of the workshop will be devoted to group work on ideas for new concepts, with an
extensive lunch break and ample room for networking.

Round of introduction
s: researchers let others know about their own research and in turn learn
what others are working on.

Breakout groups

discussing ideas for new concepts and potential research topics.

Lunch break (lunch will be

provided).

Furthe
r group work and wrap up
