Bankruptcy Risk Nearly Doubles in Year After Cancer Diagnosis
As cancer patients' survival times increase, so do their bankruptcy
rates. That's the finding of a new study by researchers who compared
U.S. bankruptcy court records to cancer registry data from nearly
232,000 adult cancer survivors in western Washington over 14 years.

Micromet drug helps 75 pct of leukaemia patients

Ipsen: arrêt d'un développement
Ipsen a annoncé lundi qu'il arrêtait le développement de son
anticancéreux expérimental Irosustat en monothérapie, mais évaluait la
possibilité de le développer en association avec d'autres thérapies
hormonales. Une étude clinique de phase II a montré que le traitement
n'atteindrait pas son critère d'évaluation principal − le pourcentage
de patientes sous traitement plus de six mois sans progression.

décès en 2008
