xcellence Awards. Since 2000, the awards have been presented annually to
companies demonstrating outstanding CEO commitment, dedication to measurement, innovation
, and
partnership
in corporate philanthropy
.
For the second
year
,
t
he awards
event
, which al
so
includes an
award for a non
profit organization, will be hosted by CECP
during the annual Corporate Philanthropy
Summit
.

ELIGIBILITY
Eligibility for this award is
limited to businesses
in the private sector.
Companies may be publicly or privately held and applications ar
e encouraged from all industry
sectors, geographical regions, and workforce sizes
.
Applications must be submitted for the legal global corporate
entity. Applications from
subsidiaries, member companies or other constituents will not be accepted
.
However, the
specific program featured in the application may be directly tied to a subsidiary, member
company or other constituent.
NEW
: The specific pro
gram nominated must have been in existence for at least 12 months.
Prior award recipients are not eli
gible to apply for 4 years (
large company
award winners
since
2004 and small company award winners since 2005
may reapply this year
