The Great Britain Minigolf Sport team competed in t
he World Minigolf Sport Federation
World Minigolf Championships from Wednesday 24

August until Saturday 27

2011. The tournament was held at the
Tantogårdens Minigolf Club
in Stockholm,
Sweden.
A total of
152 players from 17 countries competed

in

the event
.


The BMGA Great Britain Minigolf Team for the 2011 WMF World Minigolf Championships
consisted of
Marc Chapman, Chris Harding, Sean Homer, Tony Kelly, John McIver, Brad
Shepherd and Michael Smith

and finished in 15
th

place in the men’s team tour
nament
.

The team were coached at the tournament by Sweden’s Björn Dinau and Eirik Seljelid.


In the individual rankings Michael Smith finished highest amongst the G

ritain

players, with a final ranking of 79
th

The WMF World Minigolf Championships

the third International Minigolf Tournament
the Great Britain Minigolf Sport Team has competed in this year following the WMF World
Adventure Golf Masters
