Lesson Plan

31

It’s a dou
ble period after second break so I’ve decided to have interesting starters. In this case an action movie sequence that
relates to the main topic.

As it’s a double period I have included a mix of different kinds of activities, from videos, readings, pair wo
rk and group work.

Students need to start learning the command terms and their related mark schemes.

In the first pair work there will be a three people team.

In the second pair work I may take either one of the students that may be falling behind to fo
llow me and see what others are
doing, or take one that is very advanced and ask him to do a report of the best ideas without interrupting others.

Two places to check learning before the Plenary

Doing a Plenary closure at the end of the class with some ex
tra info afterwards.

After the class closure I’ve decided to explain the homework and present some questions that we will solve in the classes to
come.

In general terms this should be a more Student Led class compared to those of first year
.

It is highly p
robable I won’t be able to cover what is in the bag in the plenary. I’m trying new things and my timing may go wrong.
