Objective
:

WLAN and Broadband wireless access
markets are some of the key wireless a
reas. Sensor
networks play a major role in monitoring and control
of safety critical applications, smart spaces,
homeland security, hospital care and the like. The
objective of the workshop is to provide a platform for
researchers, students and the partici
pants from
industries to get exposed to the cutting edge
technologies in the present day wireless scenario.

The workshop will focus on the
developments related to Wi
-
Fi and Wi
-
max
Technologies and related standards. The topics to
be discussed will provid
e an overview of the state of
the art and the key issues in Sensor Networks.
Suitable WLAN demo which will include WLAN
traffic

sniffing and performance measurement of a
WLAN network will be a key part of the workshop.

We take immense pleasure in inviti
ng your
participation in this two
-
day National Workshop.
