1. Introduction :


The field of robotics is anticipated as the prospective blue ocean of the 21st century.
Governments all over world are looking forward to the day robots will be as widespread
as
telephones or computers. In particular, there are high expectations for increased demand for
human resources in the intelligent robotics field owing to the rise of the market in this area.


In order to prepare for this challenge, we need to create robot

system that fuses robot
technology and ubiquitous technology, a system that will allow autonomous mobility and
provide effective services. The realization of this robot system will elicit demand from
various industries such as edutainment, national defens
e and medical services. However, the
current technology and human resources are insufficient to realize such future prospect.
Hence, the strong demand from the society itself comes for the advancement of current robot
technology. Therefore, we need to bold
ly invest on the education of expert in robotics
engineering, in order to maximize the development of the current society as well as to reap
massive economic benefits.


The three universities have designated robot control and sensor as the general curricul
um,
with Inha university robot vision and HRI. Hanyang university specializing in robot
intelligence, perception and integrated software, Pusan university robot design and planning,
The consortium consisting of these three universities is expected to culti
vate human
resources from both the metropolitan area and the provinces. RoSEC will do its utmost best
in training internationally acknowledged robotics experts, and enhance the stance of the
domestic robotics industry in the international arena.
