This synopsis is for Replace Chilled Water Plant, Building 91029 on Hurlburt

Field, FL. The contractor
shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, supervision, and equipment to perform all operations necessary
to accomplish all work as shown on the drawings and in the specifications.

The work to be performed includes, but is not n
ecessarily limited to, the following principal features:
Chiller building is approximately 1337 square feet, consisting of exterior walls of 12" thick reinforced
split

face cmu, painted, 6" thick reinforced concrete roof slab over 22 gauge galvanized steel

deck over
wide
-
flange steel beams.

Roofing is elastomeric roof system over concrete slab. Doors consist of three 6'

0" x 8'

0" high manually
-
operated overhead coiling doors and two 4'
-
0" x 7'
-
0" high insulated hollow metal doors and frames.

Exterior wal
ls bear on reinforced concrete footings. Cooling tower is supported on the roof by means of
steel beams and tube columns. Roof perimeter has 42" high 1
-
1/2" diameter galvanized steel pipe rail
system. Access to cooling tower is by means of steel pan and co
ncrete stair system.

Interior finishes are painted walls, doors, and frames.

Flooring is epoxy floor coating system. Exterior work includes new concrete curbing, asphalt paving
patching, new concrete stoops and ramp, concrete
-
filled steel pipe bollards,
and aluminum.

This acquisition will be set aside for HubZone offerors only.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238220 with a size
standard of $14M. This contract will be a "Price Performance Trade

Off" cont
ract; award will be made
based on the "Best Value" to the Government in accordance with FAR 15.101. The Government reserves
the right to award a contract to other than the low proposed price.

Total performance period is 360 calendar days. Estimated magnit
ude for this project is between
$1,000,000 and $5,000,000.

Payment and performance bonds will be required within ten (10) days of contract award. The work is
required in support of the 1st Special Operations Civil Engineer Squadron.
