Genetic Engineering Profits

By: Chris Faulkner

What is it?

When you genetically engineer things, you
modify genes to what you want.
Sometimes it occurs naturally. Genetically
engineering something can be potentially
harmful, but we do not know yet.

Selling

Today I will be selling a genetically engineered
crop of corn that has been made in the same
amount of time it took a regular crop to grow.
Since genetically engineered crops are made so
fast, two times as many pounds are produce.
Since they are made so fast it costs less.
Therefore it sells as fast as it is made.

Today I will be selling genetically
engineered meat. Our competitors will be
selling naturally made meat. Since
genetically engineered meat takes about
twice as much time to produce than
naturally made meat, we only will be
selling about half as much product.

I will be marketing genetically engineered
babies, or designed babies. This costs up
to an average ten thousand dollars a baby!

If you read the graphs correctly, you will
notice that genetically engineered
products are by far cheaper. Therefore, it
costs less than the total amount of natural
items, but that’s just a small amount of the
profit. You can make up to five times as
many genetically engineered crops, but up
to an equal amount of meat as regular
crops!
