Purpose of the Website


The

existing

website of Department of Justice

(DOJ), which can be
accessed
from the website of Ministry of Law and Justice

to be developed into a

(Hindi and English) web portal for
dissemination of information to public
,

interact
ion

with

various stakeholders like

State Government

Supreme Court,

High Court

dissemination

of materials

and

information pertaining to Department of
Justice.
The web portal would be hosted in the NIC Web server. T
he flow of
information
on
budget allocations, utilisation of funds, pendency of
cases in the
Courts,

status of

implementation
and monitoring of
Plan and Non
-
Plan Schemes,
incumbency of Judges, Vacancy position etc.

Development Guidelines



The content and information for the website will be provided by the DoJ .
Following guidelines must be followed for the w

Create a content management system that will permit

The website should h
ave a user

friendly and visually appealing interface. The website should be easy to

navigate

resented in a logical manner and require no more than three levels

of “drill down” for th
e user to find the desired information. The web pages

must be developed in a way that accommodates the proposed navigation

scheme.

Each section of the site should

have a consistent design and a common theme. The logo of Government

of India should be prominently displayed on every page as a common

easily available and cost effective. Website must be built in accordance
