Steps



Configure the “Master Site Directory” and the “Site Directory
Links scan” in the Admin Console Operations Page.



Depending on options purchased, verify that you have all your
features enabled on all sites.



In the “Office Sharepoint Shared Services” section of the
Application Management page, click on “Services Enabled on this
farm” and verify that there are no errors.



Using the Scheduler and stsadm.exe, Create and enforce
backup jobs.
