Download the Practical Automation passthrough driver from

the Practical Automation website.

Install the USB ticket printer using the passthrough driver


While installing printer mark printer as “shared”

Determine the printer’s shared network name by opening a command prompt and issuing the
command
:


C:>net share


The shared ticket printer and the ticket printer’s name will appear in the displayed list

Determine the PC’s name (full computer name) via MyComputer

Attach LPT1 port to this shared printer by opening a

command prompt and issuing the
command:


C:>net use lpt1:

ComputerName
\
PrinterShareName

Note that persistent:yes maintains the port re
