Basic Permission
When a user authorizes an application and no additional
permissions are requested, the application will have access to
only the user's basic information. By default, this includes
certain properties such as user id, name, picture, gender
, and
their locale.
Certain connections such as friends of the user are also
available. If the user has made more of their data public, more
information will be available.
If a user who has authorized an app loads the application in a
Canvas or Page
T
ab context, an age range parameter is also
available.
This is useful, for example, for gating access to apps
related to alcohol promotion.
