Be the ETSI competence centre on network technologies




Provide protocol profile specifications for service interconnection and network interconnection




Provide network tools in response to regulatory requirements






Responsibility

detailed architecture and protocol (profile) specifications for use in networks

technologies standardized by 3GPP)
, addressing the control, data and ma

the service and transport layers of these networks,

The bulk of the work of this TC is performed by Working Groups that have specific core responsibilities and technical
competencies. The terms of
reference of the Working Groups are to be found in separate documents.


Collaboration with other bodies (both inside and outside ETSI)

In conjunction with the above Terms of Reference,
this TC

will:



Cooperate with EP E2NA WGs

and other organizations member
s of the E2NA project



Cooperate with 3GPP and other relevant fora (e.g. GSMA) on fixed and mobile interconnection and
harmonization



Co
-
ordinate ETSI positions on network aspects as appropriate in IETF.



Cooperate and maintaining good relations with other appropriate bodies, taking into account the list of
ETSI’s external relations agreements.
