Application Support Analyst

As an Application Support Analyst your responsibilities would be:

Researching and recreating customer reported issues

Provide customers with known fixes or workaround to issues and set expectations accordingly

Escalate issues

as required through to the development team on identification of software

Assist with testing of fixes and new releases of software to verify they are "customer ready"

Develop strong technical understanding of the particular Application Software

Application Support Analyst experience required:

Experience of working in a customer support environment in an Enterprise Software

Diagnostic skills including ability to troubleshoot and analyse software issues

Oracle or SQL knowledge with idea
lly exposure to Java and JavaScript

Ideally VB, Perl, HTML, SQL and XML exposure

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

motivation and drive to "get things done"

Flexibility, ability to change priorities quickly and capacity to handle multi
ple tasks

As an Application Support Analyst you will be a critical part of the support team offering
comprehensive, timely and accurate responses to technical support requests. You should ideally be
working in an Application Support environment with good
exposure to Oracle or SQL databases.
Skills such as VB, Perl, Java, JavaScript, ASP, SQL, HTML and XML would also be useful.
