(ADR3)
Introduction
The Pi Delphi ADR3 senses and logs multiple vehicle parameters at 1kHz prior to, during,
and after a triggering event. It can log parameters from the vehicle’s serial data link via CAN
or RS232 or from directly wired analogue inputs connected to the ADR. The stored data
can be retrieved later via a high speed data link to a personal computer for analysis.
The ADR features a highly rugged design for motorsports applications and includes an
internal uninterruptible power supply (NiCad batteries) which allows the ADR to operate
in the event of vehicle power loss.
The ADR is available in two versions: a Standard version and a Minimum function
version.

Installation
When installing the Pi Delphi ADR3 note the following:
Mount the Pi Delphi ADR with the connectors facing the front of the vehicle n
and the name facing up:
Select a position where the Pi Delphi ADR3 will not be in constant contact with n
water, fuel or oil;
Make sure that the Pi Delphi ADR3 will not be affected by heat soak and that n
air can flow over the Pi Delphi ADR3 to keep it below 55°C (+131°F);
Try not to place the Pi Delphi ADR3 near sources of electrical interference i.e. n
ignition coils, plug leads, ECUs, alternators and telemetry antennas.
