The digital control systemwas designed directly
for the compact DUPLEX ventilation units.
This control systemenables comfort control of a whole
system,connecting various digital sensors (humidity,
indoor air quality,etc.) and offers links to a supervisory
system.
The heart of the whole controls are modules built in
individual devices.

a) R series - basic series of digital controllers possibly
controlled by a time clock
b) KP series - comfort digital controllers with a display
and programmable weekly operation mode

with wide range of sensors and special analogue-digital
and digital-analogue transducers for supervisory

Clear uniformsystemof light-current wiring of
individual elements and detailed wiring diagrams ensure
simple and risk-free installation of the control system.
Use wire gauge,cable shielding and side run with
power cables in accordance with respective standards
and regulations.
It is necessary to arrange the power supply to the units
and their protection according to the manufacturer’s
documentation,and to meet the requirements for
conductor cross-section and shielding of the light
current control cables.In case of parallel lining with the
power conductors it is necessary to maintain their
mutual distance in accordance with the particular
norms and regulations.

Function description
Controls basic functions of DUPLEX unit.They are deliverd based on unit fan size and type (1-,3-phase).Function
description:
•independent speed control of each fan,fan output range is approx.40to 100%of nominal output –see individual fan curves
• temperature reading of all unit sections – e,e,i,i (fitted with sensors according to other devices)
• protection of heat recovery core against condensate freeze-up with automatic defrost
• fan protection against cold starts
• mixing damper control (setting of the mixing ratio from0 to 100 %) including exhaust fan speed control
• other functions necessary for heating coil connection (interlock for water heating coil freeze protection,enabling
operation based on fan operation,supply fan stop delay after switching off the unit with electric heating coil,attend.)

• by-pass damper control (summer mode,winter mode,automatic mode at constant supply air e temperature),
including regulation in the summer (so called cool recovery)
• outside and return side dirty filter alarm(pressure switch of e filter is part of the delivery)
• output for outside air e and return air i dampers control
• output – indication that the supply fan is in operation (e.g.for the external shut-off damper)
• input for the unit to stop (e.g.when the fire dampers act,etc.)

Controls basic functions of water heating coil and in conjunction with the RMCH module also the water cooling coil.They
are put in one box together with RMD module.Basic functions are following:
• temperature reading downstreamthe heating coil (TA sensor)
• heating coil freeze protection (two-stage) + safety capilary thermostat independent of RMT module
• control of mixing valve with PS (PI) characteristic based on air temperature downstreamthe heating coil
• circulating pump control
• relay output for freeze-up risk alarm(in conjunction with RMD module ensures switching off the fans)
• input for operation enabling based on fan operation
RMCH modules are necessary for cooling control.They are fitted in the RMD box.They ensure the following functions:
• temperature reading of temperatures necessary for controls (they differ according to unit configuration)
• setting of all parameters on a built-in display (minimumsupply air temperature,minimumoutdoor temperature,
minimumdelay of unit restart,min.stop time and multi-circuit systemsetting)
• dx cooling coil:output relay for switching of solenoid valve and condensing unit (optionally 2-circuit evaporators)
• water cooling coil:the control is performed together in conjunction wizh the RMT module
RME modules control EPO type electric heating coils.They are built directly in their housing.They ensure the following functions:
• temperature reading upstreamand downstream the heating coil
• three-stage heating coil overheating prevention (2nd stage works independently of the processor,3rd stage disconnects the
circuit breaker permanently)
• input for operation enabling based on fan operation

• heating coil capacity control based on air temperature downstreamthe coil• relay output for fan stop delay to cool the
heating elements
Basic series of R series digital controllers is used for simple manual control of individual Duplex systemdevices and
ensures the following functions:
• independent individual fan speed setting (40 to 100 %)
• by-pass (B) and mixing damper control
• heating and/or cooling coil capacity control based on supply air or roomair temperature (T)
• DUPLEX unit dirty filter alarmand the whole systemerror alarms
• weekly time clock (H)
• operation mode selector switch based on connected sensor,e.g.IAQ,humidity(S)
