Supplement: Installing GlassFish 3 on NetBeans 7
For Introduction to Java Programming

GlassFish is not installed in NetBeans 7 by default.
Here are the steps to install it:

Step 1: Under the Services window, right-click the
Servers tab to choose Add Server, as shown in Figure
1.1a.

Step 2: In the Add Server Instance dialog (Figure
45ab), select GlassFish Server 3.x and click Next to
download the server.

Step 3: After the server is downloaded, you will be
prompted to register local domain, as shown in Figure
1.3. Use the default domain domain1 and check Use
default port. Click Finish to complete installation.
