to 2001, Kathia Regina Lemos Jucá

thesis on Intrusion Detection System based on Artificial Immune System a
t PPGCC

UFSC which was supervised by Prof. João Bosco Mangueira Sobral.
Since 2002
, the
Prof. Azzedine Boukerche, when he still worked in PARADISE Laboratory at University
of Texas, has colaborated with the members of this research gro
up and participated f
or
the publications
in NIDISC

IPDPS 2002 and 2003
.


On March 2003
we continued for the development of other works i
n conventional
network security jointly with Renato Bobsin Machado and Igor Vinícius Mussoi de Lima.


In 2004, the Kathia’s work was publis

, jointly Prof.
Azzedine Boukerche at the moment in SITE

ervisioned by Prof. Boukerche. The intention of both

institutions involved

provide the means for the development of the following common activities such as:

4. Exchange of academic materials and other information;
