Instructions for
Assets with HOA’s


If you are handling a property which has an HOA you must contact the HOA immediately to introduce
yourself as the New Owner’s representative. If there are
any outstanding balances
prior to

the property
going

into foreclosure, try to get them waived along with the late fees.
If the HOA is in the S
tate of California,
we are only responsible from the date the foreclosure sale took place.

You will need to send a

copy of the
trustee’s deed to the HOA as proof the sale took place
,

as well as the date the bank took over. If there are any
issues as far as the HOA not being able to release information to you or not being able to get any prior
balances waived, please i

Once all dues are brought up to date and the account is current, it is your responsibility as the agent to
continue paying them monthly and submit to Precision for reimbursement. You will continue making the
payments on the p
roperty until it goes into escrow or is getting ready to close escrow.
Once the property goes
into escrow you will stop making the payment to avoid double payments being paid through escrow
department. If the property falls out of escrow you will inform Jo
sie and she will advise for continuous HOA
dues.
All reimbursement requests should reach us no later than the 15
th

day of that current month so when our
monthly HOA report is printed we are aware which assets are pending payments. Precision Asset
Managemen
t will then process the reimbursement request.


PLEASE NOTE:

Any late fees accumulated due to the fact that the HOA payment was not paid on time,
will not be reimbursed.
