Protocol of post gastric plication diet for 6 months

You can drink up to 50 cc every 15 minutes during awaken time. It is 2000
cc each day which is equal to 10 glasses (each glass 200 cc)

Drinking more than permitted volume (50cc) each time may

induce
Epigastric pain due to pressure over suture line or reflux due to
incompetent esophago

10 glasses includes:


1 glass low fat (1.5%) milk


2 glasses syrup

water and
sugar
)


3 glasses fruit juice (apple, orange, carrot)


4 glasses wate
r




Every 15 mins just 50 cc liquids
continues in second diet as well

S
econd diet contains:


1 glass yogurt low fat diluted by 50 cc milk or water

of soap containing meat (100 gr), vegetable,
mushroom
and
carrot

(In the soap
you have

to prevent to use rice,
cereal, starch)

Drinking water of soap has to perform in this form:



Start with very little water of soap (5 cc each time and
during 1 or 2 days it increase up to 50 cc to prevent any
contraction of
gastric wall and pain)



50 cc each time with 60 mins interval, otherwise it can be
painful



3 slices fruits: apple, orange carrot, cucumber



4 glasses water

(water can be replaced by tea without sugar or
buttermilk without gas)



The strategy of diet for next 6 months is to eat or drink up to 50 cc (4 big
spoons) each time
.

At this stage

the patient has to start exercise like walking
1 hour daily

Supplementary drugs start at the moment includ
ing:

Cap Zinc

Cap Multivitamins

mineral

Tab Vit B1 300 mgr

One each day

and carrot (300 cc water of soap and 100 cc its contents)




It should use with 60 mins interval and up to 50 cc each

This stage is the main diet and continuous up to 6 months after operation.

Solid foods should use with very limited volume, so each main part of diet
(breakfast, lunch and dinner) has divided in two parts to decrease t
he risk
of pain after solid foods.
