Repeat comment:
In
dicate the U.L. or other accredited agency designs for all fire rated
beams and columns on the plans
as noted in

Items 1 and 2 above
.

This would apply to
spray
-
on fireproofing and gypsum assemblies.

4.

New comment: Revise Wall Type J on page A0.1 to indicate the intended wall
construction. The wall sections of the plans give the impression of block wall
construction a
nd the wall type detail eludes to precast construction?

5.

New comment: Stair ST101 is required to be enclosed with 1
-
hour fire barrier walls
(See page A1.1) per Section 1020.1 of the 2006 International Building Code.

6.

New comment: The exterior walls of the

stairwells shall be 1
-
hour fire rated per
Section 1020.1 of the 2006 International Building Code. Pages A1.2 and A1.3 of the
plans do not provide sufficient information to show compliance.

7.

New comment: The exterior wall at the rear of the building on pag
e A1.2 has an
incomplete wall section reference.

8.

New comment: The steel guardrail detail is missing on page A7.1 of the plans.

T
he following shall be completed at a later date, but will not delay the issuance of a building

20
06 International Building Code. See pages A7.2, A7.3 and A7.4.
