MRS.GRAF’S
CLASSROOM RULES AND PROCEDURES

Lincoln Middl
e School has three basic rules:

Be Positve.

Be Respectful.

Be Responsible.

In order for us to work together to have a successful, productive, and fun year, certain rules and
procedures must be followed.

1.

As soon as you
enter the classroom
, sit down in your seat and be

prepared to start. This means you need to have a pen or pencil

ready, your planner, your binder, and any book you will need.

2.
DO NOT

get up in the middle of class without asking permission. This means if you need to d
o
any of the following you MUST ask first:

Use the pencil sharpener

Go to the lav (LAST FIVE MINUTES ONLY!!!)

Get a drink from the bubbler

Go to your locker

Go to the library

Go to the office

Go to the nurse

The bottom line is: DO NOT simply leave the ro
om without permission!

3.

Please take care of all
classroom materials
. Computers, markers
,

scissors, glue, colored
pencils, drawing paper, and construction paper are just a few of the items you will be using
throughout the year. It is your responsibility to
take care of all of these materials and put
them away when you are asked.

4.

The
Classroom Library

is for you to check out books to read for pleasure or for projects.
PLEASE take care of these books and follow the proper procedure for checking out books.

a.

Fill out your name on the card located in the pocket in the back of the book. Also
write down the date you are checking out the book.

b.

PLACE the card in the black box on the top of the bookshelf.
DO NOT LEAVE THE
CARD IN THE BOOK!!

c.

Return the book to the ba
sket labeled
RETURN BOOKS HERE
.

d.

If you lose a book, you must replace it!

5.

Gum, food, and drinks are not allowed in the classroom.

Let’s just say ANTS love the
bottom floor of this building. Also, gum has made a mess of the chairs, desks, and floors. For
so
me reason, it never stays in your mouth!!

6.

DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING ON MY DESK OR REMOVE ANYTHING FROM MY DESK!
