JPLANGWiki

A tool for the efficient creation of language learning
contents for JPLANG using Wiki technology.

(1) Create and edit language learning materials
anywhere and at anytime via the network

(2) Uses document markup syntax to present
Web designs

pages by using the characteristics common to
language learning materials

Learning materials : beginning to intermediate levels

(Currently about 300 study

hours, based on textbooks used at
the Japanese Language Center for International Students, Tokyo
University of Foreign Studies, or JLC TUFS)

Aims of JPLANG Project

1.
Develop an LMS (Learning Management System)
specialized for language education

(Web 2.0 technology is used as the development
platform)

2.
Provide a complete set of Japanese language learning
materials covering beginning to advanced levels

3.
Use in Japanese language classes (in the regular
curriculum) at JLC TUFS

4.
Offer service to other universities and language schools
in Japan and overseas
